I have written and re-written this message so many times and just can’t seem to find the right words. So I am just going to write straight from the heart ❤️
When I opened up my bridal shop 24 years ago, I could never have imagined an invisible enemy such as this virus would end up forcing us to shut the doors to all our beautiful brides-to-be.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of helping hundreds of brides and their bridal parties choose and fit their gowns and I have enjoyed every minute. I consider it a privilege to have shared your journeys and all those magical moments with you all.
It seems so surreal having to tell you all this but as of today (23rd March 2020) the boutique is now CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
We have to support the Prime Minister and our Government. It would be morally irresponsible of us to continue with new bridal appointments and fittings considering the governments request for social distancing. We have to consider our staff and customers health over all other things.
Our doors are closed from today (23rd March 2020) in an effort to contain COVID-19 and to support the NHS in their fight against this awful virus.
It has broken my heart listening to all the stories from our lovely brides-to-be. I really do feel for those who’s wedding dates have had to be moved and all wedding plans put on hold so suddenly.
But for now we all need to focus on staying well and looking after those around you. You will still have your big day – just later than planned. And when this is over a great big wedding celebration will be just what everyone needs.
